LET ME GUESS...

You walk past a café window. You catch your reflection and for a split second don't recognize yourself. Who is... oh. That's me.

By the time you get home, you're googling meal plans again even though you KNOW better.

I call these moments trap doors.

One minute you're living your life, and before you know it you're spiralling: When did this happen? How do I fix this? What am I doing wrong?

Here's the thing about trap doors...Even when you're committed to intuitive eating or rejecting diet culture, even when you KNOW better, they can still drop you right back into the diet cycle.

Because body image work isn't the same as food work.

Here's what's actually happening:

You're experiencing body dissatisfaction, and it's because you live in a culture that's told you for decades that your body is a problem that needs fixing. And that story is still running in the background of every decision you make.

You're here because you've done the food work, but something's still missing:

  • You've committed to intuitive eating, but trap door moments (café windows, dressing room mirrors, photos with friends) still send you spiraling back to diet thoughts
  • You've rejected diet culture intellectually, but your body still feels like the problem that needs fixing
  • You've made peace with food, but you still measure your worth by how your jeans fit
  • You're in the messy middle - done with dieting but still struggling with your changing midlife body
  • You're afraid you might be the exception to the rule, the one person intuitive eating won't work for

HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The trap doors are designed by diet culture to make you think you're uniquely broken. You're not.

So when body dissatisfaction persists despite doing all the right things, you think: "It must be me. I must be doing it wrong. Maybe I really do just need to lose the weight first?"

The reason you feel stuck is because body image work isn't the same as food work!

  • You can make peace with eating the cookie and still struggle with your reflection.
  • You can honour your hunger and still avoid photos.
  • You can reject the scale and still worry that your body is "too big".

This is the messy middle and The Midlife Body Image Lab will help you get out of it.

Imagine if...

  • You could see your reflection in a window and keep walking - no spiral, no googling meal plans by the time you get home
  • You had the ability to get dressed without the 20-minute catalog of everything "wrong" with your body (Without the outfit changes, the body checking, the mental commentary)
  •  You could enjoy a yoga class without being distracted by how different your body feels in a pose
  • You could finally show up to events without the week-long pre-spiral and worrying about what to wear or how you'll look in the photos
  • You didn't have to choose between making peace with food OR making peace with your body because the body work has finally caught up to the food work
  • Body dissatisfaction wasn't running the show anymore and you could notice when you're hungry, tired, or satisfied (signals that body preoccupation usually drowns out) more easily and consistently?

What if the trap doors were still there, but you stopped falling through?

STOP HOLDING YOUR LIFE HOSTAGE

You've been putting things on hold for years, waiting for your body to feel "acceptable".

Diet culture created the problem, but menopause made it worse.

But, you can learn to quiet the dissatisfaction without feeling like you're just giving up.

STOP Waiting for it to get easier

You've been putting things on hold for years, waiting for your body to feel "acceptable".

Diet culture created the problem, but it can get worse in midlife thanks to hormones and menopause.

But, you can learn to quiet the dissatisfaction.

THE SOLUTION IS SIMPLE

The Midlife Body Image Lab is designed around one core premise: You body isn't the problem.

This isn't a course on loving your belly or celebrating your curves. (Body positivity is great, but it's not where you need to start.)

The goal isn't to suddenly love everything about your body.

It's about learning to feel less dissatisfied with the body you have today by avoiding the comparison trap door that's keeping you stuck.

So that you can finally feel confident as an intuitive eater and experience real body confidence!

INTRODUCING...

6 weeks and 6 experiments.

This isn't a course with long modules and homework you'll feel guilty about not finishing. It's a guided experiment with a structured space to test ideas, examine beliefs, and figure out what actually helps you avoid trap doors and build body confidence.

YES, I NEED THIS

By the end of 6 weeks:

  • You see the trap doors coming. You can recognize the pattern before you fall through and how to shift the programming around the comparison trap door.
  • You have tools to interrupt the spiral. Practical experiments you can return to whenever a trap door appears (because they will). These are real skills that work in  in the moment, whether that's a dressing room or a doctor's appointment.
  • You stop measuring your worth by how your jeans fit. Body neutrality becomes easier and more accessible. Even if you don't love all your parts, you're not letting body dissatisfaction run the show.
  • You feel like you practice intuitive eating sustainably. Because you're not trying to honour your hunger and fullness while stuck in the suck of a bad body image moment. The body work catches up to the food work!
  • You're not doing this alone. A community of women in the messy middle, doing the real work together.

And you'll be able to achieve all of this with one extra resource... ME!

Unlike other courses and programs that leave you without so much as an email address to reach out to... I'll be with you every step of the way!

Hi There! I'm Jenn!

I'm a dietitian and intuitive eating counselor who helps midlife women stop hating their bodies and lean into the magic of midlife.

For years, I stood in front of the mirror cataloging everything that was "wrong", pulling at my belly, avoiding photos, waiting to lose weight before buying clothes I actually liked. I thought my body was the problem that needed fixing.

Spoiler: it wasn't.

The problem was decades of diet culture telling me that my worth was tied to my size, and that I needed to look a certain way to feel confident and comfortable in my body.

Here's what I know now: Your belly isn't a moral failing and you haven't done anything wrong if your body has changed in midlife and menopause! And you don't have to earn the right to exist comfortably in your skin.

The work I do helps you recognize the diet culture story you've internalized, reframe what your body changes actually mean, and reclaim your right to live without body shame running the show.

You're not broken, and making peace with your midlife body doesn't require losing weight, or feeling like you're giving up!

Let's make midlife the chapter where you finally stop fighting your reflection and start trusting yourself.

Let's Talk Experiments

The breakdown
Week 1

THE BODY DISSATISFACTION EXPERIMENT Prove to yourself that body dissatisfaction is the gatekeeper

Gather evidence on how body dissatisfaction is interfering with your daily life.  By the end of week 1, you'll have proof that your body isn't the problem.

WEEK 2

THE INFLUENCE AUDIT Recognize the origins of your beliefs about bodies

Together, we'll take a step-by-step approach to understanding where your default programming about bodies and body image have come from.

WEEK 3

THE SOCIAL COMPARISON TRAP DOOR Stop measuring your worth against other bodies

Examine how social comparison keeps you stuck in the messy middle and how we internalize our worth based on how we measure up. Learn to notice comparison moments without falling through, and challenge the belief that someone else's body says anything about yours.

WEEK 4

THE INTERNALIZED WORTH EXPERIMENT Challenge how you measure your value (and learn to stop)

Explore how you've internalized the message that your worth is tied to how your body looks and what happens when you start separating the two. Test what changes when you stop using your reflection, the scale, or how your jeans fit as evidence of whether you're "good enough."

WEEK 5

THE BODY APPRECIATION EXPERIMENT
Test body appreciation as a tool (not a feeling you have to force)

Explore body appreciation as a practice, not a destination. What happens when you shift from "my body should look different" to "my body does things"? Test whether appreciation (not love, not positivity) creates more space than criticism.

WEEK 6

DEFUSING BAD BODY IMAGE MOMENTS
Build your toolkit for when trap doors appear (because they will)

Practice and refine strategies to defuse trap door moments in real time, whether it's the café window, the photo, the dressing room or the reunion. These moments won't disappear, but you can learn to see them coming and choose not to fall through.

I know you're going to love these

  • BONUS 1 --> 30-minute 1:1 call with me to use anytime before, during, or after the program. (value $150)
  • BONUS 2 --> Extended Community Access (30 days) in the Feaster Community after the Midlife Body Image Lab ends  (value $45)

The structure that makes it work

BEFORE EACH LIVE CALL

You'll receive experiment instructions via email 2 days before the call. These are curiosity-driven prompts designed to help you notice patterns, challenge assumptions, and gather evidence about your own body image beliefs.

EXPERIMENT-BASED APPROACH

This is a lab, not a lecture. Each week focuses on a different experiment to help you observe, test, and gather your own data. No rigid rules to follow, just guided discovery.

WEEKLY 90-MINUTE LIVE CALLS

We work through components of the experiment together, debrief what you noticed, reframe diet culture narratives, and troubleshoot what came up. This is where the real work happens and you're not doing this alone!

THE 3 R'S FRAMEWORK

Recognize — Where did these beliefs come from?

Reframe — What if your body isn't the problem?

Reclaim — What becomes possible when body dissatisfaction isn't running the show?

PRIVATE COMMUNITY

Check in throughout the week in our private community (no Facebook, no social media). Share your cheers and challenges, ask questions, or get support.

I'm ready to join the lab!
