The following terms and conditions apply to The Midlife Body Image Lab, hereinafter referred to as the “Program.”
Medical Disclaimer – No Medical Advice
The information and content provided via this Program is for general educational and informational purposes only and is not professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or care, nor is it intended to be a substitute therefor.
You acknowledge and agree that entry into the Program and the presentation of information in the Program does not establish a doctor-patient relationship, a therapist-client relationship, or any other clinical relationship between us.
The Program is not therapy, psychological counseling, or a substitute for mental health treatment. If you are currently experiencing a clinical eating disorder, active self-harm, or a mental health crisis, please seek the support of a qualified mental health professional before enrolling.
If you have any concerns or questions about your health, always seek the advice of a doctor or other qualified health care professional. Do not disregard, avoid, or delay in seeking medical advice or treatment from your health care professional because of something you learned via this Program.
Program Description
The Midlife Body Image Lab is a 6-week group program that includes:
- One (1) live 90-minute group call per week
- Weekly experiment instructions emailed two (2) days before each live call
- Access to a private community chat for check-ins and discussion between calls
Live calls will be recorded and made available to enrolled participants. Access to the program materials and community will be available for the duration of the 6-week program and for 4 weeks following the date of the last live call.
Investment and Payment
You agree to pay the total program fee as listed on the enrollment page at the time of purchase, either as a single one-time payment or via the available payment plan option, if offered. Your chosen method of payment will be saved and charged according to the payment schedule selected at enrollment.
Refund Policy
As the contents of the Program are a digital product, refunds cannot be provided.
Confidentiality and Community Guidelines
This Program involves group discussion of personal experiences related to body image, food relationships, and diet culture. By enrolling, you agree to:
- Keep all personal information shared by other participants confidential
- Engage respectfully with other participants
- Not take or share recordings, screenshots, or content from the live calls or private community outside of the Program
Force Majeure
Jennifer Salib Huber Health Consulting and the Program will use its best efforts to provide the services outlined above but shall not be liable for any failure of performance of any covenant or promise contained in this agreement, nor shall any delay or failure constitute a default or give rise to any liability for damages if, and only to the extent that, such delay or failure is caused by “force majeure.” As used in this Agreement, “force majeure” means acts of God, acts of the public enemy, acts of terrorism, unusually severe weather, fires, floods, epidemics, quarantines, strikes, labour disputes, and freight embargoes, to the extent such events were not the result of, or were not aggravated by, the acts or omissions of Jennifer Salib Huber Health Consulting.
Intellectual Property Rights
The Program, and all the material available via the Program, are protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws.
The Program and material are provided for your informational, non-commercial, and personal use only as authorized under these terms. You may not use the Program in a manner that constitutes an infringement of the rights of Jennifer Salib Huber Health Consulting or that has not been authorized. More specifically, unless explicitly authorized in this Agreement, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, translate, sell, create derivative works, exploit, or distribute in any manner or medium (including by email or other electronic means) any of the material provided in the Program. You may, however, download, store, and/or print single copies of any material that is shared with you for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you maintain all copyright and other proprietary notices.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Jennifer Salib Huber Health Consulting be liable for damages of any kind, including, without limitation, any direct, special, indirect, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages including, without limitation, any loss or damages in the nature of, or relating to, lost business, medical injury, personal injury, wrongful death, improper diagnosis, inaccurate information, improper treatment, or any other loss incurred in connection with your use, misuse, or reliance upon the Program, regardless of the cause and whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.
Jennifer Salib Huber Health Consulting also expressly disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions, and conduct of any third-party user of the Program or any third-party platform used to deliver it. Under no circumstances shall Jennifer Salib Huber Health Consulting be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising in any manner whatsoever from (i) the acts, omissions, or conduct of any third party; and (ii) any access, use, reliance upon, or inability to use any materials, content, goods, or services located at, or made available at, any website linked to or from the Program material, regardless of the cause and whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.
Termination
You may terminate your participation in the Program (and forfeit any remaining sessions) at any time.
Jennifer Salib Huber Health Consulting may terminate your involvement in the Program immediately if you breach any of the terms of this Agreement, including the Confidentiality and Community Guidelines above.
General
Notice. All correspondence or notice required regarding the Program shall be made using the email address used to enroll in the Program. Should your email address, billing, or contact information change at any time throughout the Program, it is your responsibility to provide your updated information within one (1) week of any change.
Entire Agreement, Assignment, Survivability, and Waiver. This Agreement may be modified or amended at any time so long as the amendment is in writing and signed by both parties. You may not assign your rights or obligations under this Agreement to anyone else, and the obligations under this Agreement shall survive indefinitely unless otherwise stated in this Agreement. If Jennifer Salib Huber Health Consulting chooses to waive or not enforce one or more terms of this Agreement, it does not in any way limit the right to later enforce every part of this Agreement. If any section of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, all other sections shall be held in full force and effect.
Governing Law. This Agreement shall be construed according to the laws of Den Haag, Netherlands.
